Steven K. Parnagian, Esquire
Steven K. Parnagian is a partner of the firm and practices from our Massachusetts offices. Steven concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation, business law, representation of small to medium size companies, commercial financing, commercial and residential real estate development and transactions. Steven is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island (B.A., 1983) and a graduate of Western New England School of Law (J.D., 1987). Prior to founding the firm, Steven was an associate attorney with a Rhode Island firm where he served as the Assistant Solicitor for the towns of North Kingstown and Exeter. In 1995 he established the Law Office of Steven K. Parnagian, Ltd., in Boston, Massachusetts.
Steven is admitted to practice within Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and the United States District Court for the Districts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Jason R. Marinelli, Esquire
Jason R. Marinelli is a principal partner of the firm and practices from our Rhode Island offices. Jason concentrates his practice in areas relating to the acquisition, development, financing, and sale of residential and commercial real estate, land use and zoning law, condominium conversions, and national and international relocation. He represents banks, private lenders, credit unions, community lending institutions, individual and corporate Buyers and Sellers, developers, and Relocation Carriers.
Jason is a graduate of Providence College (B.A., 1987) Cum Laude, Phi Sigma Tau Honor Society, Georgetown University Graduate School (M.A., 1988), Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 1993), and is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Jason is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He currently serves as a Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation certified instructor for residential real estate licensure. He is the past president and a current member of the Executives Association of Rhode Island. He served as an Assistant Town Solicitor in North Kingstown and Exeter responsible for Prosecutions in the Washington County District Court, and for Planning and Zoning compliance and enforcement. He currently serves on the Board of Governers and is the House Committee Chair at the Hope Club.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys playing golf at the Rhode Island Country Club, collecting wine and fishing. He lives in Barrington with his wife, Debbie and his three children Alex, Emily and Tom.
Edward “Ted" P. Reidy, Esquire
Edward “Ted" P. Reidy joined the firm in 2014 and practices from our Rhode Island offices. Ted’s practice concentrates mainly in the areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions, land use matters and estate planning and administration.
Prior to joining the firm, Ted counseled clients on estate planning and probate issues for estates of all sizes as an attorney and Vice President with the Bank of Boston Trust Department. He then worked several years for a Warwick law firm that focused on litigation. In 1993, Ted formed the law firm of McGunagle & Reidy, Ltd., and later served as President of Attorney Title Services, Inc. and Reidy Law Offices located in Pawtuxet Village, Rhode Island.
Ted is a graduate of Providence College (B.A., 1983) and The Catholic University of America School of Law (J.D., 1986).
Ted is admitted to practice before the State and Federal courts of Rhode Island.
Ted is actively involved with the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, the Greater Providence and Kent-Washington Boards of Realtors and currently serves as the Chairman of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Government Affairs Committee. He is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation to instruct continuing education for realtor licensure. Ted also serves as the Chairman of the Groden Center Human Rights Committee and is involved with the advocacy of the rights of the mentally ill, particularly individuals with autism.
Mark A. Charleson, Esquire
Mark A. Charleson joined the firm in 2012 and practices from our Rhode Island offices. Mark concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, business planning, contract negotiations, real estate transactions and general litigation. Mark also has extensive experience practicing before the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission and the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal.
Prior to joining the firm, Mark practiced with his father, Frederic A. Charleson, Esquire and thereafter as a sole practitioner in Providence and Cranston, Rhode Island.
Mark is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., 1987) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 1990).
Mark is admitted to practice before all Rhode Island and Massachusetts courts, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
Mark lectures and conducts seminars related to estate planning, the probate process and The Rhode Island Landlord/Tenant Act.
Kristen J. Assalone ...
Kristen J Assalone, ESQ., is an of counsel attorney working in our Warwick location. She concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, real estate commercial and residential conveyancing and criminal law.
A lifelong resident of the state of Rhode Island Ms. Assalone principally represents clients in Family Court, successfully handling child custody disputes, divorce matters, child-support determinations, and criminal matters. Her tactful style affords her clients great success when navigating through the Family Court system from the initial stages of litigation through final resolutions. Her experience and knowledge with court mediation, emergency and expedited hearings, and settlement conferencing provides proven results for her clients.
Kristen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson and Wales University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-law studies and an Associates degree in economics and finance. She graduated from Suffolk University School of Law, Cum Laude.
Miss Assalone is admitted to practice in Rhode Island State and Federal Courts. In addition, she is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Family Court Bench Bar Committee, the Rhode Island Bar Association Title Standards Committee, and the Edward P. Gallogly Family Law American Inn of Court.

Michael J. Murray joined the firm in 2016 and practices from the Newport office located in the Historic Billings Coggeshall House (1748). Michael’s practice concentrates mainly in the areas of residential real estate transactions, land use matters, estate planning and administration and related litigation.
Michael is a graduate of De La Salle Academy in Newport, Rhode Island and The College of the Holy Cross (A.B.1973). He graduated from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1980 after completing four years of active duty with the United States Navy.
After graduation from law school, Michael served as a Law Clerk in the Federal District Court of Rhode Island before entering private practice. Michael has served as a Special Master in the Rhode Island Superior Court for Real Estate Disputes, as a Hearing Officer for the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training and Assistance Disciplinary Counsel for the Rhode Island Supreme Court (1988 Term). He was Honorably named a Certified Member of the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association in 1984. He is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Rhode Island and the United States Supreme Court, Washington, D.C.
Michael has served as a Trustee for the Fort Adams Trust and the Newport Art Museum. He is a Commander, United State Navy Reserve, Retired.
