Edward “Ted" P. Reidy joined the firm in 2014 and practices from our Rhode Island offices. Ted’s practice concentrates mainly in the areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions, land use matters and estate planning and administration.


Prior to joining the firm, Ted counseled clients on estate planning and probate issues for estates of all sizes during his employment with the Bank of Boston Trust Department. He then worked several years for a Warwick law firm that focused on litigation. In 1993, Ted formed the law firm of McGunagle & Reidy, Ltd., and later served as President of Attorney Title Services, Inc. and Reidy Law Office located in Pawtuxet Village, Rhode Island.


Ted is a graduate of Providence College (B.A., 1983) and The Catholic University of America School of Law (J.D., 1986).


Ted is admitted to practice before the State and Federal courts of Rhode Island.


Ted is actively involved with the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and with the Greater Providence and Kent-Washington Boards of Realtors. He is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation to instruct continuing education for realtor licensure. Ted currently serves on the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Government Affairs Committee and is the Chairman of the Groden Center Human Rights Committee and is involved with the advocacy of the rights of the mentally ill, particularly individuals with autism.
